Hot Tip: White House Black Market Reversible Belt on the cover of ELLE

By  |

Katie Holmes seems to be kicking off a new career as a model.  She’s just been announced as the new face of Ann Taylor, and now she’s on the February  issue of ELLE Magazine as their cover model.  Inside the magazine, Katie models not Ann Taylor, but  pricey pieces from Tom Ford and Philip Lim 3.1. However, on the cover, she shows off one  great and affordable wardrobe piece:  White House Black Market’s reversible patent belt,   which retails for $38.00 USD.  The belt is black on one side and white on the other.   It’s a “twofor”  two belts for the price of one.   When I interviewed style expert and author, Lloyd Boston last year, he recommended that women add a slim or wide belt to a dress, sweater or blazer to always emphasize the slimmest part of their shape,  the waist.  If you’re looking to streamline your figure, remember to “Belt It” with a versatile belt like the WHBM reversible piece.

Note, Holmes & Rang is not a budget line, and prices run up to $3,000. USD.  It is sold a at Maxfield on Melrose in Los Angeles. It’s a very different price point than the Ann Taylor fashions she will be modeling.
