OMG, Cynthia Rowley Designs Diapers for Pampers!
Does your little bundle of joy need to look chic n’ cheap? Do you want them to get used to designer labels early in life? Then good news. Pampers has a new Diaper that they are about to start selling at Target……..designed by, wait for it…Cynthia Rowley. Above is a picture of the stylish design. Quite understated on an infant don’t you agree? Will it make the unseemly task of diaper changing take on a new elegance? Who can say. It’s early days for this latest innovation from Proctor and Gamble. I’m not a mommy, but I a dying to find out how much these cost. The products will be on Target store shelves and Target.com in July.
These innovative products will bought to market by Pampers maker Proctor and Gamble. This is an interesting move for them, after recent complaints about Pampers from some Mommy bloggers. According to P&G, Pampers by Cynthia Rowley incorporates a beautiful look and feel – giving discerning parents high performance, value and choice of style. The diaper collection, which will be available in pastel designs including madras, stripes and printed ruffles suited specifically to babies and toddlers, delivers the perfect blend of utility and aesthetics. After all babies need fashion choices too. I mean white is so yesterday.
“As a mom, I wanted other moms and dads to have more options in every part of their lives — even diapers,” said Rowley. “It’s the first piece of clothing your baby will ever wear, and it should be special.”
I just don’t know about that…are the diapers really “clothing?” What ever happened to the good old cloth diapers that were washed instead of disposed of in the garbage bins and land fills. Now the talents of Cynthia Rowley will join all the other disposable diapers in the trash heap.
What do you think readers? Will you be just waiting to get these Designer Diapers? Or would you rather wear a fashionable designer on your own stylish shelf? So many questions. This one is even more surprising that Liza going to the Home Shopping Network.
