Holiday Cheer: Michelle Sparkling Wine is Cheap, Chic & Cheerful

Looking for some reasonably priced bubbly (aka Brut) for the holidays? Then you might want to check out the newly relaunched Michelle Sparkling wine crafted in the “champagne style.”  Michelle Sparkling is the artist formerly known as Domaine St. Michelle from Chateau Ste. Michelle. The wine maker has relaunched and rebranded their wine in a new bottle with a lovely vintage looking label.  Michelle Sparkling  is sourced from premium grapes culled from vineyards in Washington state’s Columbia Valley. The new packaging will definitely appeal to women and fashionistas alike.  I had the opportunity to try the new Michelle Sparkling wine at a private event last week in Beverly Hills at BLO Salon on Beverly Drive.  Michelle is delicious and smooth.  It’s no hardship to taste Sparkling Michelle.

Michelle Sparkling comes is three varieties: Brut,  Brut Rosé and Extra Dry.  My favorite is the Brut. One sip of Michelle Sparkling Brut and it’s easy to see why this pleasant adult beverage is rated a  90 points best buy at BevMo!  The  Michelle Sparkling  Brut has hints of pear and lemon aromas, with a fabuless bubbly bite to it.  If you’re looking for a great holiday sparkling wine, look for Sparkling Michelle at BevMo!, Trader Joe’s , your local grocery or online at the Michelle Sparkling website.  Pricing for a bottle ranges from $8.99  (BevMo!) to $14.00.  The suggested retail price  for Michelle Sparkling Wines is $14.  The repackaging is designed to lure  more women to the sparkling wine. “With the majority of our sales being made by women, we enhanced shelf appeal with feminine flair,” said Brenda Castaneda, Marketing Manager.  “The new packaging features an elegant bottle shape and an attractive white label accented with soft blue (Brut, Extra Dry) and blush (Brut Rose) hues. This is definitely a wine that is cheap and cheerful.   Pairing this sparkling wine with macaroons or dessert is a great way to have a holiday party without spending a lot of money on catering or even Costco supplies.
