David Beckham models his H&M Briefs

By now, I think it’s a truth universally acknowledged that women enjoy seeing David Beckham in his briefs.   With that in mind, H&M has been plans for the 2014 Super Bowl.  This Super Bowl, H&M will launch  a new David Beckham Bodywear campaign. But wait, there’s more.  Just like Lady Gaga,  David Beckham will also make a personal appearance at the new H&M Times Square store to greet his fans. Read on for the details of Becks and his briefs, plus H&M’s giveaway of a Super Bowl trip.

In addition to traditional TV commercials, H&M is going to pull out all the tech stops to promote the new Beckham bodywear.  They will unveil a 30-second high-octane David Beckham TV spot.  Viewers with select Samsung Smart TVs will be able to buy pieces from the new David Beckham Bodywear collection instantly during the Super Bowl through the t-commerce platform. Anyone up for shopping for briefs during the Super Bowl? I’m not sure.  Most viewers are more into beer and chicken wings during the game breaks.  But maybe Beckham’s low priced briefs can lure men into shopping via their Smart TVs.  Or maybe it will be something for women to do on game breaks to ogle Beckham and then buy briefs for their partners?

On thing that will draw men and women a like is  H&M’s grand prize giveaway via  their Facebook page  and in-store starting today, January 6th. Consumers who log onto H&M’s Facebook page and provide their email address will be entered to win a three night trip to New York City, two tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII and the opportunity to meet David Beckham.  Now that’s going to be a hit for sure!
