J Crew Radiant Orchid Cardigan NYFW Giveaway Sponsored by Clorox 2
PANTONE has decreed that the color for 2014 is 18-3224 Radiant Orchid. As New York Fashion Week kicks off for the Fall/ Autumn 2014 season, you can expect to see a lot of this color on the runways. We already saw gowns in Radiant Orchid at the Golden Globes. I think we can expect to see more of this enigmatic purple at the Oscars in March. As New York Fashion Week kicks off, despite powerful winter storms, we thought we’d celebrate by giving away a Radiant Orchid Cardigan from J Crew. I don’t know if J Crew will be showing this item on the runway at their Fall/Winter 2014 show this week, but you never know. We’re hoping the warm glow of Radiant Orchid will provide some winter warm. This fitted mixed tape cotton cardigan is cut slim in super fine baby cotton. One of the challenges with wearing Radiant Orchid is keeping the color bright and fresh. Tips for keeping your garments in top fashionista form are provided by the sponsor of this giveaway, Clorox 2. As a coffee addict, Clorox 2 and a Clorox travel pen for zapping stains are part of my New York Fashion Week packing and my everyday use. Who wants that awkward moment when you are talking to a designer or chic fellow blogger only to discover your apparel is stained by coffee, lunch, or even dirty snow?
If you’ve invested in good looking fashions, it’s worth spending a few more pennies to avoid dull-looking clothing that can result from stains and repeated washing, right? Another benefit of Clorox 2 is that it doesn’t contain toxins or carcinogenic chemicals. The ingredients in this product are not identified as carcinogens or potential carcinogens by NTP, IARC and OSHA.

Here’s a few easy tips from Clorox to help eliminate tough stains and keep your colors bright.
Pre-treat stains using the Clorox2® Pre-treat Stain Remover Pen.
- For tough stains, like wine coffee and grass, be sure to pre-treat. First, remove the garment: do not treat clothing while wearing it.
- Remove all loose dirt from the fabric and blot wet stains with a clean absorbent cloth.
- Squeeze the pen and apply liberally onto stain. Rub it in with the pen tip to cover the stain completely and replace cap when done.
- Wait 10 minutes, and then wash immediately with an all- or mostly all-colors load.
Give your laundry detergent a boost with Clorox 2 Stain Fighter & Color Booster Pack
- Help your colors avoid looking dull from stains and from washing by adding one pack per load directly to your washer. For large or extra dirty loads use two packs.
- Add your favorite detergent and launder as usual!
- Make sure the stain is gone before machine drying, as drying could cause the stain to further set.
Did you know?
- The bleach active in Clorox2 Stain Fighter and Color Booster is hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).
- As a general rule, if you can machine wash a colored item with detergent, then you can also wash it with detergent and Clorox2.
- Clorox2 Stain Fighter and Color Booster can be used in both standard and HE washing machines.
- Whether you’re at home or on the go at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week the Clorox myStain app can give you tips and tricks to remove tough stains.
