Los Angeles: Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP announces ‘Super-Classy Yard Sale’

Here’s two words you don’t often hear in the same sentence: Gwyneth Paltrow and sale.   The actress in known for her luxury tastes and is no bargain shopper.   The actress, who has been quoted as saying, ‘I am who I am. I can’t pretend to be somebody who makes $25,000 a year’ has announced that her website GOOP will be having a ‘Super-Classy Yard Sale’  in Brentwood, California May 5th to May 11th.    Looks like  Gwyneth Paltrow will be “consciously uncoupling” from some of her designer duds for charity. So what can shoppers expect from this so called “sale?”

Our spies tell us Ms. Paltrow’s GOOP site will be selling off designer shoes, clothing and accessories including Kate Hudson’s Balenciaga dress, Nicole Richie’s Christian Louboutin shoes and Beyonce’s custom-made boots. I don’t know if that translates into affordable couture, but it might be worth checking out when the GOOP Pop-up store opens its door May 5, 2014. All proceeds from the sales will go to DonorsChoose, a charity dedicated to helping public school teachers provide classroom materials.
