Lady Gaga for Tiffany Jewelry: Gaga is the face of Tiffany HardWear
Here’s two brand names you don’t expect to find in the same sentence: Lady Gaga and Tiffany. Yes, Lady Gaga is the latest recipient of the discreet and very exclusive Tiffany blue box. Tiffany & Co. has announced (via an exclusive article in Vanity Fair ) that Lady Gaga is the new face of Tiffany HardWear jewelry. This is a surprise move by Tiffany, but one that is bound to gain the brand millions of new views on their website and high visibility on social media, marketing moves that will undoubtedly bring a new group of potential customers to look at Tiffany’s luxury jewelry offerings.
What can you expect from HardWear? According to Fashionista, “The collection, which includes rings, pendants, earrings and necklaces in 18-karat gold and sterling silver, reportedly draws inspiration from archival unisex bracelets originally created in 1971.” There’s no word yet on pricing, but I don’t expect this collection to be inexpensive.
The campaign will kick-off with short advert/video that will air before Lady Gaga performs at the Superbowl halftime show on February 5th. Coincidentally, the collection will go live on the Tiffany website on February 5, 2017 and will be available for pre-order at that time.
