Casadei Shoes Sighted on The Met Gala Red Carpet and Loehmann’s

If you’ve been looking at the fashion blogs and online magazines then you’re well aware of the best dressed looks from the Metropolitan Museum Gala last night.  Although you won’t find the couture gowns on the discount racks anytime soon, I do have a fabuless tip on some of the shoes. Demi Moore was wearing 5045 satin and jeweled heels (see photo above) from Casadei at the annual Costume Institute Gala Benefit. Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson were also wearing the glamorous heels.  I have actually seen Casadei at Loehmann’s.  Not every style of course, but several great looking pairs.  Look for them next time you go to your local Loehmann’s.  They are great looking shoes, and Loehmann’s offers a better price than their normal retail price.  As for Demi’s gorgeous metallic gown, that’s a Lanvin.  Every now and then you may see a Lanvin at the Barney’s New York Warehouse sale, although sightings are as rare as blue eggs on Sunday.
