Prince Harry Steps Out in Jeans: Another Royal Recessionista

My favorite Ginger, Prince Harry recently stepped out with his fashionable sister-in-law Kate at The Team Great Britain House to visit the Olympic athletes..in wait for it… a pair of jeans.  I think his mum, Princess Diana was the first royal to go out in public dressed in jeans.  It’s good to see Prince Harry continuing this fine traditional and bringing the royals into the modern era.  My spies tell me that Prince Henry of Wales was wearing jeans from 7 for All Mankind, a very good-looking upscale brand.  One of my good friends has been wearing these jeans quite a bit, finding them comfortable and durable.  Although the jeans can be pricey, you can find them on sale at Macy’s, Loehmann’s and sometimes Gilt Groupe (the recent final sale). I love this picture of Kate and Harry looking so accessible and yet stylish in their casual garb. There’s more than one royal recessionista now.

Update: By now, most of you know, that Prince Harry was caught in Vegas without any clothes on.  Apparently, he made the mistake of discarding his clothing while playing a friendly game of poke with some strippers.   While we are all for budget cutbacks, going without clothes is taking things a bit too far.  Dear Harry, please put those jeans back on! You showed us a side of you we didn’t need or want to see!
