Avon Calling: They Have Marimekko for a Good Cause

Remember last summer when H & M sold a limited edition Marimekko line of printed tunics, swim cover-ups and maxi-dresses? The line sold out very quickly and not everyone had a chance to snap up some of these gorgeous, bold prints for less. Now Avon is making this cute Marimekko tote available to benefit Breast Cancer for only $10.00. And you can order it online. Until recently, I had no idea that Avon was selling both jewelry and handbags from their website. They have an interesting selection of low-priced accessories.

If you’re not familiar with Marimekko they are a classic line of colorful prints produced in Finland since 1951. Jackie Kennedy was a fan and wore their styles. I’ve always said, if it’s good enough for Jackie, it’s good enough for me 🙂 I just don’t have Jackie’s credit line, so this low-priced bag suits me just fine. Why pay more?
