NYFW: Perry Ellis Black Cars and Savings via Foursquare
Today I was walking the streets of New York City in my fabulous trainers when I spotted a black car…from, wait for it..the Perry Ellis team. Good news fashionistas here for NYFW, Perry Ellis Black Cars are out on the street and willing to take you to shows! Yes, in this weekend of parades, the US Open and Services, traffic is a disaster. Perry Ellis created the car service to celebrate the launch of the new Perry Ellis Black Collection that will kick off on Saturday, September 10 and will run through September 12.
The fleet of Perry Ellis Black cars will began appearing this morning Saturday, September 10, and will be available free of charge for consumers, fashion editors and influencers. The cars will be available around Lincoln Center, Milk Studios and Union Square, and can be flagged down on the street if spotted. Can you believe the luck of these cars. Love to Perry Ellis from all bloggers will be coming soon I think! 🙂 If you see one of the cars, run to Foursquare and check in, then you get a Discount at Perry Ellis and a cool badge. Here’s the special badge.

Interested riders can track the cars’ locations by following @PerryEllis and #PerfectRide on Twitter. The car program will end the evening of Monday, September 12 shortly before Perry Ellis shows their Spring 2012 collection at Lincoln Center. Here’s the lowdown on the show. The Perry Ellis Black collection consists of 14 pieces and was born from the idea that black is elegant, timeless and easy to wear.
John Crocco, the creative director for Perry Ellis says, “Black is a versatile and practical shade to wear. There are few colors men can wear head-to-toe and actually look masculine and modern. That insight led us create an edited collection of perfect black pieces that every guy should own.”
