We’re big fans of designer Jackie Fraser-Swan of the Emerson Fashion Line and have covered her New York Fashion Week shows for the last few seasons. Ms. Swan has a unique perspective, combining luxury materials with casual chic.  Ms. Swan is a descendant of no less than literary icon Ralph Waldo Emerson , that’s where her brand name Emerson comes from.

For Spring 2014, our spies tell us the designer will show a “Punk Rock Garden Party” inspired collection.  Sounds like Emerson Spring 2014 will be a bit edgy and typically eccentric.  I can envision the dress we were sent a sketch  of on Katie Perry at the next Grammy Awards Red Carpet, can’t you?
