Fashion Week Beauty: Backstage with Maybelline at DKNY
If you saw any of the pictures or the runway show from the DKNY Fall 2015 show, then you know the models had distinctive make-up drawn around the entire eye perimeter. Make-up artist Yadim showed us how to recreate the look with Maybelline products.
Yadim took his beauty inspiration for the Fall/Winter 2015 DKNY show from an abstract graphic cutout design featured in the collection. Here’s how you can recreate the look from the DKNY Fall 2015 runway show.
Yadim began by prepping skin with Face Studio Master Prime Illumination + Blur. He applied Face Studio Master Conceal under and on the lid of the eye to even out the skin. He blended FIT! me Matte + Poreless Foundation all over the face using his fingers and he highlighted the cheeks and T-zone with Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream-Gel Shadow in Barely Branded.
He finished by dusting FIT! me Matte + Poreless Powder all over the face. Yadim created a strong brow, filling in using Brow Precise Shaping Pencil.
He then created a striking eye look, using Eye Studio Master Graphic to draw an abstract cutout around the eye that does not connect at the inner corner of the eye. He filled the line out using Eye Studio Master Precise Eyeliner and finished by applying Baby Lips Lip Balm in Quenched to the lid. Lips were bare and natural, with Baby Lips Lip Balm in Quenched offering a subtle shine.
What do you think of this look readers? Would you wear this out ?
