Travel: Summer Packages at Mandarin Oriental Hotels
Summer is a great time to take a break and get away from it all. One thing we love is finding great deals on travel, especially luxury travel, that we can share with readers. With Father’s Day coming up June 21, it’s a good time to consider a nice getaway for Dad or your family. Recently we uncovered some super specials at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel chain at their hotels in Las Vegas, Washington, DC and Miami that we think you’ll want to put on your radar this summer.
The Recessionista’s favorite place to stay in Las Vegas is the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. We love the staff at this hotel, their attention to detail ( even sending up complimentary Chicken Soup on a recent stay when I feel sick.) We also love the luxury spa at this Mandarin Oriental, the services are incredible with highly trained and attentive staff giving services that are a real cut above the Las Vegas overcrowded spa experience . There is no comparison between the mass market experience of a service at the Canyon Ranch spa in the Palazzo/Venetian Hotels and a treatment at the Mandarin Oriental. So if you’re looking to be treated to a five star experience the summer, check out these specials at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. The hotel is offering a special bed and breakfast rate of $239.00 per night or a rate of $199.00 per night rate without breakfast. If you want to bring the family along, then check out this deal. Until August 30, 2015 , you can bring the family along and receive 50% off a connecting room with a King Bed. Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas is very family friendly with no smoking and no casino on the premises. No casino on the premises guarantees that you won’t run into the crazy drunks and party people that the casinos seem to attract at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas.
For dining at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas check out the five star Twist by French Chef Pierre Gagnaire, offers delicious, and unusual cuisine with stunning views of Las Vegas from the 23rd floor of the hotel. For more casual dining, check out the authentic green curry at the MOzen Bistro. MOzen Bistro also has a fabulous bar with great cocktails and serves a great breakfast. I’m still looking for the ultimate great deal at the Mandarin Oriental New York for a stay. Until I find it, I remain a frequent visit to the cocktail lounge with it’s stunning views of New York. For morning meetings I enjoy business breakfasts at the Asiate restaurants.
