Tonight my friend Debbie and I took a trip to a “sample sale” in Beverly Hills for an expensive and gorgeous designer line which we hope would be deeply discounted.  Alas, our hopes were dashed when even the lowest priced sale items were $150.00.   Sacre bleu! Time to look for good deals elsewhere.  And right before my very eyes the deal appeared.  I took a second look at my friend’s cute little top (pictured above.) The top, which reminds me a bit of Lily Pulitzer’s style, is by Palm Beach designers Lily and Van from their cheap and cheerful QVC line.  It may not be a coincidence that Lily and Van stirs up memories of the other Lily.  Part of the team, Lilly van Gerbig, is the goddaughter of  fashion legend, Lilly Pulitzer.  The other half of the team is Palm Beach artist Barry van Gerbig, the designer of the collection’s colorful prints.  Eager to learn more, I point and clicked on over to the QVC website to see the entire Lily and Van collection.  Its feminine, charming and perfect for spring and summer wear.  The Lilly & Van QVC collection features tunics, knit tops, cardigans, jackets, coats and capri pants, skirts, tanks and dresses.  Best of all, some of it is on clearance. Check out this adorable coat on sale for $37.50 reduced from over $100.00.

Kudos to QVC for signing up Lily and Van and bringing their cute clothes from Palm Beach to the world.  I’m so pleased to have made another great budget fashion discovery.  I’ll be following this collection and ordering some of the tops for the warm weather.  If you’re interested in checking it out for yourself, point and click on over to QVC or LilyandVanstudios.com.
