ALDO Shoes Launches Social Media Contest for a Dream Vacation

Here at The Recessionista’s we live in the land of the free and the home of the shopping brave.  We’re constantly mesmerized by the lure of the free, especially fashionable items.  So naturally, our people (me, myself & I) are drawn like a month to the flame by ALDO’s new Instagram contest.  ALDO shoes is celebrating their forty years in the footwear biz with one great contest and several smaller giveaways over 40 days for both men and women who like good shoes. Here’s the 411.

For simply sharing a cherished memory, you can Win A Dream Vacation Anywhere in the World (up to an $8,000 value)!  Can  you even imagine what fun you can have on an 8k vacation? 🙂 Naturally, I will be entering soon, when I think of an appropriate shoe moment !

How To Enter:

1. Take a picture with Instagram.
2. Write one sentence in the description of the image that tells @ALDO_Shoes about your shoe moment.
3. Tweet the image, adding the hashtag #ALDO40 and #shoemoment.
4. Submit the picture via the Instagram URL on ALDO40.com contest site.
5. Winners will be chosen by November 7th and announced by November 15th.
