Model show off the alice + olivia x  Grateful Dead collection on the runway in Los Angeles before Coachella.

Alice and Olivia designer Stacey Benet sent her alice + olivia x the Grateful Dead collection down the runway in Hollywood last week.  Celebrities in attendance included Kourtney Kardashian, Misha Barton and Emily Ratajkowski. The alice + olivia collection features 60s styles that are a fitting style pre-cursor to the Coachella music festival happening now.  This is a beautiful collection that reminds me of some of Janis Joplin’s Colin Rose apparel, more so than the Grateful Dead.  This collection features crop tops, fringe, slit skirts, wide leg pants, colorful dresses, halter tops, embroidered separates and maxi slip dresses.

The collection is feminine and recalls the playfulness & freedom of 1960’s styles. You could see Grace Slick strolling around the Haight in the alice + olivia Ray embroidered long-sleeve dress.  The 12 exclusive items are now available on the Alice and Olivia website and Neiman Marcus.
