Celebrate the ELLEments of Style with ELLE Magazine and RueLaLa

By  |

Did you know that ELLE magazine is turning 25 years old? Yes, ELLE has reached the quarter century mark with over 6 million readers. As you might surmise by its French title, the book was founded in France. Today, the magazine is read all over the world and covers not just fashion, but beauty, health and lifestyle. With 39 international editions in over 60 countries, ELLE is the world’s largest fashion magazine.

This week, on Oct 14th, to celebrate their big birthday ELLE will release a new book. The book is entitled, “The ELLEments of Personal Style: 25 Modern Fashion Icons on How to Dress, Shop, and Live“, a look at twenty-five modern day fashion icons and what really makes their styles work.  To celebrate the launch, online shopping club Rue La La is launching a limited edition ELLEments of Style Boutique from Thursday Oct 14 – Friday Oct 15 that will give members the opportunity to accessorize like the fashion icons featured in the book.   So save the date.  I know I want to see what’s on the ELLE Boutique.

My spies tell me that the boutique is the brainchild of ELLE’s Creative Director, Joe Zee. The ELLEments of Style Boutique will feature must-have accessories reflecting the style of some of the iconic women in the book including:

Charlotte Rampling (my favorite for her classic, simple elegance)

Milla Jovovich
Minnnie Mortimer
Candace Bushnell

For 25 years, ELLE magazine has shown woman how to wear clothes and accessories to transform their outlook.  The right look can brighten a mood, build confidence, and give you an extra reason to smile.  If you’re not a member of Rue La La, click here to use my invite to join.    Yes, I earn a referral fee from this link  if you join and shop.  And you will earn the same fee if you refer your friends.  It’s a good way to expand your shopping wallet without actually spending.  Smart, huh?
