Charlotte’s Sex and the City 2 Cupcake Apron

If you’ve seen the Sex and the City 2 movie, then you know that Charlotte worn this adorable June Clever worthy apron in a scene while making cupcakes with her kids. In a recent interview, Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes)  said that Charlotte’s apron and white vintage Valentino pants was her favorite outfit in the whole movie!

If case you like to look as fashionable as Charlotte when you cook or bake, you might be interested in this Jessica Steele vintage looking apron.  The apron is officially known as the Jessie Steele “Audrey Cupcakes Apron” and I just found it online from Amazon.com for just $22.89, even though it ordinarily retails for $30.00.  The apron is made of cotton  and has  ties at the waist. Although Charlotte York is certainly not part of the recession era generation of women rediscovering the joys of cooking at home, I do like her style! Nothing like a cheap and cheerful recipe from Epicurious.com plus a little Sex and the City vintage look to jazz up the humdrum of the kitchen. I’ll take a pass on the screaming kids though! 🙂
