Emmy’s Best Dressed: Julie Roberts in Elie Saab

How great did Julia Roberts look on the Emmys Red Carpet tonight? Ms. Roberts looked playful, yet elegant in a dress from Elie Saab’s  Fall 2014 couture collection.    She may have been wearing the only short dress at the Emmy’s, at least the only one I saw.    Look for affordable pelum dresses with sparkle like Julia’s on ASOS.com and Nordstroms.  For make-up and beauty, check out L’Oreal’s suggestions to channel Julia’s pretty woman look.

During L’Oreal’s real-time beauty chat during the EMMY’s, L’Oreal recreated the sparkle from Julia’s Elie Saab dress by suggesting a coordinating nail polish from what looked like L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail line.

Personally, I like Julia’s fun, flirty EMMY’s look much better than the dress she wore to the Oscars a few months ago.  This could start a trend of more cocktail dresses on the red carpet.  I’m sure that would be a welcome change for all the actresses who have tripped on their dress trains (Jennifer Lawrence) or been unable to work in fish tail gowns.
