Freebie Alert: Check in on Foursquare with In-Style for Nars lipstick at Saks Fifth Avenue

One of the things I’m hearing from readers on comments of what they’d like to see on The Recessionista is more freebies.  So here’s one for you.  But, you must be a social media lurver to get it, and specifically , a user of Foursquare.  Here’s the deal. Saks Fifth Avenue and social networking site Foursquare are offering  Saks shoppers the chance to score a free lipstick from Nars! Just sign up for an account at Foursquare.com, follow InStyle, and download the free app to your smartphone or Blackberry. Then head on over to a participating Saks Fifth Avenue store and check in at InStyle hotspots (you can choose from the Shoe, Cosmetics, Women’s Contemporary and Wear departments) for styling and shopping tips straight from InStyle editors. Check in at two or more spots and you can drop by the General Manager’s office for a complimentary Nars Pure Matte lipstick in one of six shades—a $25 value!
