Giveaway: Peter Walsh’s “It’s All Too Much” Book and DVD

All good things must come to an end.  Sadly, the Memorial Day weekend is almost over.  Just a few more hours of holiday to go.  I have to give myself a small pat on the back today for doing a little Memorial Day cleaning and closet triage.  Tomorrow, I’ll be giving away old items to some charities and Goodwill.  A few choice fashion tidbits will go on eBay to help pay bills or save for a vacation. Did any of you doing any reorganizing or “decluttering” over the weekend? Please tell me I am not alone in my shambolical housecleaning or my need to keep favorite clothing items draped on a chair for easy access rather than hanging in the closet.  I mean, it’s so much easier to just go to the chair, and pick up an outfit, rather than open the closet and conduct a full scale search.

Obviously, I only took “baby steps.”  A couple months ago, OfficeMax was kind enough to give me a copy of Peter Walsh’s ( Peter is a cleaning superstar who has been on TLC’s Clean Sweep and Oprah. ) book and DVD called  “It’s All Too Much.”  Ironically, it was all too much for me at the time, and I never got around to doing a proper blog giveaway on it.  You know, it’s that work thing 🙂  The book was properly saved in the special The Recessionista collection, a unique dust gathering place on the lower shelf of my coffee table.  In my fit of cleaning and new found vacation organization fervor, I have “liberated” the book from my own clutter.
