H&M Comes to Harlem with Store Re-opening July 30
Target is not the only retailer moving to Harlem. On July 30 discount fashion retail H&M is reopening it’s shop on 125th street in this historic New York neighborhood. As is typical with H&M store openings, there will be prizes for the first customers in line. Here are all the details for my New York readers and those visiting NY. To support the local community, the Swedish retailer is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem. H&M will donate gift cards to club members, in addition to a financial grant to support their programs. On opening day, H&M will grant the Boys & Girls Club early access to the store at 9 am to allow their members to shop before the public. But wait there’s more. In celebration of the grand re-opening, H&M Harlem will also offer the first 200 shoppers in line an H&M T-shirt and Access to Fashion Pass, valued from $10 to $300. One lucky winner will receive an “All Access Fashion Pass” , allowing them early entry to the store and a personal style consultation from an H&M stylist. Be careful fashionistas, if it’s hot on Friday, don’t wear yourself out in line waiting for a fashion pass. There will be fantastic opening offers all weekend for the entire family including: ladies’ dresses starting at $3, men’s shirts starting at $5, and girls’ leggings starting at $3. Besides, H&M prices are always reasonable. Unfortunately, I’m not in NYC this week for the grand re-opening, so you might have to check it out for me! If you do, leave a comment.
