H&M has thoughtfully posted their usual “How to Shop” guide for the Oct 4th Launch of their Anna Dello Russo accessories collection. To help expedite the shopping, they have divided the collection into different displays in the few stores that have it.  Click on the chart above to view the floor plan, and make your plans accordingly. In Europe and the UK, I’m hearing stores will open early at 9 am to sell the collection.  The collection will also be sold online in Europe & the UK.  I think the website will stay up for this one, just a hunch. Versace it ain’t. In the US, H&M Stores will open at 10:00 am on Oct. 4th.

Now, be advised that the return policy on the AdR collection is a bit different. In the US, H&M has posted a 10 day return policy on their website.  This is different than their typical 90 days return cycle.  I think this is to discourage eBayers from trying to sell the stuff, and then bringing it back to the store long after the launch date, when it’s no longer hot.

From this collection, there is some cute costume jewelry & luggage. Here are pictures with US prices.  Click on the pictures to see the pieces in a large view with prices. As you can see, this collection runs the gamut from the cute to the perverse.   Avoid the fugly “fascinator” hat at all costs. This looks like some crazy remnant of an autocrat’s closet from the Austro Hungarian empire.  It’s dreadful. Discuss.
