JCPenney Launches Eva Longoria Home Bedding Collection
Moroccan inspired bedding from a famous TV star? For sale at a big box store at reasonable prices? That’s something you may not have expected from affordable retailer JCPenney. But that’s what JCPenney debuted last week in Los Angeles at a special press event with its newest brand partner, actress Eva Longoria. Ms. Longoria has teamed up with JCPenney to create an exclusive new bedding collection now on sale in over 100 JCPenney stores and on jcpenney.com . Guess what it’s called? That’s right Eva Longoria Home . The line (already on discounted by 25% at JC Penney) offers consumers comforter sets, decorative pillows and window treatments featuring an elegant mix of prints and finishes. The launch of the collection is just in time for Mother’s Day gift-giving or spring decorating.
Eva Longoria Home is inspired by the actresses travels over the last several years to Turkey, Morocco and Spain.. The colors are rich and the fabrics are surprisingly luxurious. It’s not what you would expect from JCPenney and this line gives Martha Stewart a run for the money. The Eva Longoria Home collection features four distinct bedding sets: Adana, Mireles, Solano and Marrakech. Prices for the sets range from $129.99 to $169.99, each bedding set includes a comforter, two shams and a bed skirt, while the coordinating decorative pillows are available from $34.99 to $39.99 each. There are also matching valances and drapes available on the JCPenney website to decorate your bedroom.
“Each bedding ensemble offers a unique aesthetic inspired by Moroccan lattice, the deep blue Mediterranean Sea, the serene lavender fields in Spain and ornate Moorish tiles that give any room a touch of worldly elegance,” said Eva Longoria. “By drawing inspiration from these beautiful and exotic places, I can help others create a home that is stylish, yet casual and inviting.”
As many of us know, and Eva is quick to point out, new bedding is a great way to change the look of your bedroom without spending a lot of money. It’s alway an easy change to make requiring no painting or new furniture.
