Jenna Hipp’s 12 polish collection

One of my readers wrote in to tell me about stylist Jenna Hipp’s new environmentally friendly nail polish now on sale at Costco for $14.99  and Amazon.   My reader Jan, tells me that the Hipp polish is better than other commercial nail polishes and doesn’t have the strong chemical scent. If you’re a women who loves to do her nails you might want to check this polish out.  It’s affordably priced and free of toxins like dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde and toluene.

As Ms. Hipp told Dame Magazine, “Nail polish, polish removers and artificial nail products contain a host of toxic chemicals known or suspected to cause cancer, reproductive harm, asthma and other potentially serious health effects.
The good news is that many nail polish manufacturers have re-formulated their products to remove the “toxic trio” of ingredients: dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde and toluene.”   Readers, check the labels on your favorite polishes to make sure these ingredients are not in what you are using!   Formaldehyde is a known human carcinogen, and the other chemicals have horrible side effects like headaches or causing fatigue.

You can still do your nails, but be safe.    If you’ve tried this nail polish leave me a comment and share your thoughts.
