Kelly Osbourne to Launch “Stories” Fashion Line on HSN
Wondering why Kelly Osbourne had a “Stories” tattoo on the side of her shaved head this weekend at BeautyCon LA? Well, it turns out that “Stories” is the name of her new fashion line which will be sold on HSN. Kelly has been talking about doing a fashion line since she appeared at the LuckyFabb conference last year. As promised, her fashion line will include plus-sizes and traditional women’s sizes.
The collection is due to launch on Sept. 25th on HSN, the Home Shopping Network. That’s just one day after the Target for Altuzzara collection is scheduled to go on sale.
The collection is reported to retail from $55.00 to $170.00 US. Why is the line called “Stories?” “I believe that every time you wear something, you have a story of where you wore it, whether it be good or bad,” said Ms. Osbourne to WWD at the Los Angeles office of Jupi Corp., her manufacturing partner. “What made me realize this was when I was going through my closet and I was like, ‘Oh, I wore those shoes on stage every day when I was in Chicago,’ and ‘I wore that dress to my friend’s funeral,’ and, ‘Oh my gosh, I wore that skirt on a date and it still has a stain on it from where I fell off the steps because he tried to kiss me, I didn’t want to kiss him and I broke my wrist. I can’t get rid of that.’ Like, there are all these funny emotional attachments.”
It’s reported that the HSN Stories fashion collection will feature 13 different looks including a polka dot jumpsuit, a rose-print blouse and a Union Jack-inspired dress. This line isn’t the first time an Osbourne has done a collection with HSN. Some of you may recall Sharon Osbourne had a jewelry collection on HSN a few seasons ago.
Update: We had the opportunity to see some of the Stories Fashion Line at HSN”s Fall Preview at New York Fashion Week. It’s very cute. See our pictures above from the preview. Pieces in the Stories line include shirts with English Rose appliques,a romper with the Union Jack flag on it, floral print jumpsuits and faux leather motorcycle jacket.
