The Kardashian Kollection has arrived. Control your excitement 🙂 The latest money making style move from the sisters is now available for pre-order on SearsStyle.com. Is it a dream or a drone? Well, it all depends on your style sensibilities. The collection is the polar opposite of it’s competitor, also launching this month, the Karl Lagerfeld Impulse collection for Macy’s. It’s like comparing a classical piece of music (Lagerfeld) to a disco hit (Kardashians.) However, there is room for both. The Kardashian Sears collection features curve hugging dresses that might be great for clubbing, some blingy accessories and bags, plus Victoria Secret like lingerie. You need to be a bit “flash” for this collection, and you need to like short skirts and tight clothes. For me, the most traditional piece (and understated one) in the collection in the peach skirt and top modeled by Kourtney above. I’m not sure about pairing it with the leopard jacket. I’ve always liked Kourtney’s style the best of the three sisters.

The other piece I like is the very vintage inspired black jumpsuit. This is a dead ringer for a jumpsuit I just bought at a Vintage store in Los Angeles, probably from the late 1970 seventies or early 1980s designed by Phillipe Jodur for Ferrali. My vintage jumpsuit doesn’t have elastic at the ankles for the harem pant type look, but it does have the plunging V-neckline. The jumpsuit also comes in Leopard, but that’s a bit over the top for me, although I could see it on Khloe Kardashian.

The jumpsuit retails for $99.00, which is a bit pricey for my tastes, but it now on the pre-sale at Sears Style for 30% off at $69.00. What do you think of this collection? In my opinion, it will all go on sale, lower than the current pre-sale collection, because it’s not currently priced for the average Sears clothing shopper.
Frankly, I’m much more impressed by the prices and styles in the FCUK, French Connection UK line from Sears. There are some great tops on sale there for just $18.00. When the stock market is diving, $18.00 sounds better to me, than $70.00 to feed the Kardashians. Just say’in.
