NET-A-PORTER x Draper James Capsule Collection Launch in Los Angeles

Luxury website NET-A-PORTER held a special event today in Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of their exclusive capsule collection with Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James fashion line.

Celebrities and stylists turned up at NET-A-PORTER x Draper James Event to schmooze and celebrate the colorful, retro styled collection in Beverly Hills. Camila Alves, Jennifer Garner, Monique Lhuillier, Rachel Zoe, Ava Phillipe,  Irena Medavoy and Net-a-Porter editor-in-chief Lucy Yeomans .  The guests were treated to mint juleps, pineapple cakes and a southern styled luncheon.  Ms. Witherspoon praised her Southern grandmother as the inspiration for her Draper James collection.  Ms. Witherspoon  told attendees that her grandmother, Dorothea Draper,  would take her shopping in Nashville with an eye for putting outfits together assembling matching shoes, belts and dresses.  The name Draper James is a homage to her grandparents Dorothea Draper and William James Witherspoon.

The NET-A-PORTER x Draper James Capsule Collection launched in May, but the collection was updated yesterday, June 5th with new styles. Prices for the collection start at $240.00, making the NET-A-PORTER x Draper James Capsule Collection not exactly cheap, but more affordable than other luxury priced fashions on the NET-A-PORTER website.  Some pieces in the collection have already sold-out, so clearly the styles and prices are popular with NET-A-PORTER customers.

According to NET-A-PORTER, the NET-A-PORTER X Draper James exclusive capsule collection “features of floral, gingham and lace dresses in ‘50s silhouettes.”

Collection standouts include the blue floral print dresses and skirts, the off shoulder dresses & tops, the cut-out flare dress with the pink flamingos.  Sizing for the collection ranges from size 0 to size 12 for the NET-A-PORTER x Draper James collection.   See below for some of our favorite pieces.
