New Linda McCartney Documentary is Fashionably Real
Once considered unfashionable and even cruelly mocked by fashion critics and music critics alike Linda McCartney is now very much in style. Her daughter, Stella McCartney, now a famous designer has created jumpsuits, shoes and a perfume all inspired by Linda. Now, a new documentary about Linda McCartney is being released. The documentary answers all her critics by showing the good work she did in her lifetime to promote a vegetarian lifestyle. Although Linda appeared in Vogue magazine in 1969, as Mrs. Paul McCartney, fashion was never her thing. She wore little makeup and according to her daughter Stella cut her own hair. She was no real housewife, although she was married to a very wealthy man.
If you have a chance, check out the trailer for the new documentary here. It’s refreshing look at a celebrity who was fashionably true to her own values and no slave to any style but her own.

The video trailer for the documentary was quietly launched on the Linda McCartney food page on Facebook along with a social media campaign. You can follow the campaign on Twitter using the hashtag #LoveLinda.
Ironically, although she once thought to be unfashionable, Linda McCartney’s style remains a strong influence on the work of her daughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney.
“I think my mum was really very ahead of her time. She wore very little makeup. She really explored the way that she wore clothes in a very honest way. She wore a lot of vintage stuff and mixed it with bespoke men’s tailoring and things like that,” said Stella McCartney. “That was a huge influence on me, seeing a woman in the spotlight carry herself in that kind of way. But mostly, for me, it was just that she was an incredibly honest and sort of natural person, and I think that really I explore that more in my clothes and my design than what you saw on the outside.”– Stella McCartney
