Nicole Richie for Macy’s Impulse Sketches Released

Macy’s has just released a few sketched from the upcoming Nicole Richie Impulse collection, coming to stores in September.  From the sketches I’ve seen, I’m showing the two that I like best : a maxi dress that looks very 1930s with flutter sleeves and a shorter boho chic short dress.  I have to say, I like Nicole’s style, but these are better than I expected.  According to Macy’s  “Nicole Richie for Impulse only at Macy’s” will feature exclusive, limited-edition apparel inspired by Richie’s trendsetting personal style, including 1970s influenced silhouettes, prints and fabrications. Richie’s covetable designs for Macy’s will infuse fluid garments with bohemian glamour, offering fashion-forward looks at an affordable price. Bottom line, it’s a vintage inspired with lots of reworking of old patterns with some fresh prints.  

Personally, I’m loving it, and I hope it looks as good on the rack as it does in the sketches. Prices will range from $49 to $149, and it’s Macy’s so you can count on coupons and sales.  Stay tuned for further updates.
