Oscar de la Renta has introduced a new Barbie Doll outfitted in a replica of a bridal gown from the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 bridal collection.  The doll is truly a collector’s item with 10,000 of these special dolls made.  The Oscar de la Renta Barbie is for sale on the designer’s website for $175.00 or on Amazon for approximately $169.00 US.

The “Something Blue” Barbie doll wears a replica of this stunning bridal gown from the Oscar de la Renta bridal collection runway.

The doll wears a gown with a “stunning guipure and chiffon trumpet silhouette trails” and voluminous tiers of light blue tulle, marrying a modern, clean-lined design with Oscar de la Renta’s romantic artistry. Dazzling jewelry, a feminine bouquet, gold-accented pumps accessorize the doll’s runway ready look.  I have to say this is the most stunning Barbie doll I’ve ever seen!  The dolls are already selling on eBay for  $260.00, almost $100 over the retail price.
