People StyleWatch Deals. Savings on Shabby Apple, 1928 Jewelry and more!

So one of my guilty pleasures are my subscriptions to People and People StyleWatch.  I don’t pay the newsstand price for the magazine, I buy it via Amazon.com magazines where I get it very deeply discounted.  One of the good things about StyleWatch is the special deals and coupon codes for readers in each issue of the magazine.  Its a great way to get some quality items using the offers that People is able to negotiate with vendors.  This week, there are 21 deals featured including the above pictured Casablanca dress from Shabby Apple.  This dress channels old 1950s Christian Dior  style with the bow tie, and the high wrap shoulders.  It retails for $86.00, but with the style code, (stylewatch20off)  you get it for $69.00.  Of course, I had to test drive this, and I ordered it for myself.  I’ll let you know if its as good as it looks when I receive it.

If you got People magazine this week (April 5th), did you see that two celebrities were spotted wearing dresses from H&M on the red carpet? Kate Mara looked amazing in the $39.00 Red Rosettee Dress from new H&M Garden Collection.  Jessica Lowndes wore a black sweetheart neck black H&M dress for $49.99.   I love that celebs are seen wearing these inexpensive looks and that they look, luxurious.   Here’s to more of the chic n’cheap!
