Shopping & Technology: The WishClouds App Helps You Save
Some of us are getting ready to officially start our holiday shopping over the Thanksgiving holidays and are looking for easy ways to find the deals. Mobile shopping apps are a great way to bring the deals to you, before you go to the store and while you are in the store or shopping on line. If you like to shop from your phone, take a look at the new WishClouds app. WishClouds is a new social shopping app and website displays deals from retailers like H&M, ASOS, Nordstroms/Topshop, Kate Spade, TOMS and Sephora. The app and website can save users money this season thanks to unique real-time sales notifications and a live feed of current sale items.
WishClouds can track tech items, clothing , shoes, handbags and more. The beauty of the app is that WishClouds lets you know when things go on sale. Here’s how it works. Both the app and website enable users to search for and save the items they want to buy. After users save the item to their wish list, then WishClouds can send an alert that the item has been are discounted. The other cool thing about the WishCloud technology is that it lets you send alerts or friends and family to share the deals. The alerts provide price histories and holiday wish lists.
Developed by Founder and CEO Greg Miller, “WishClouds quickly gives holiday shoppers an insiders’ edge on finding the brands they need and want at the best price thanks to our proprietary real-time data feeds,” says Mr. Miller.
WishClouds is another good tool for shoppers to use to see what is currently on sale at some of their favorite retailers. No other site or app offers such a search function. To use this feature, vist the “Feed” section on WishClouds then click on the “Only Items on Sale” toggle.
Another special feature of WishCouds is the celebrity Tastemakers section where you can see picks from celebs like Ciara Bravo (of Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush ) and Nicole Murphy for this holiday season. Look for The Recessionista’s curated picks on WishClouds too to see what we’re looking for this holiday.
