Sneak Preview of Narcisco Rodriguez for Kohl’s & a Giveaway

Yesterday I got the most pleasant surprise after a very long tough day: Kohl’s sent me samples from the Narcisco Rodriguez DesignNation collection. Whoop! My day turned around. Readers, this collection gets a big rave from me. It’s really fabulous. I received the coat on the left, and the dress second from left, as well as a pair of leggings and a fabulous blouse/top with classy bow tie at the waist.

So why I am I so in love with this collection? Let me tell you what I love.  The color blocking on the dress is genius.  It makes me look 10 lbs thinner.  It’s amazing, truly.  The dress is also a very comfortable ponte knit with stretch in it, you can sit in it all day at work comfortably and then head out for dinner and cocktails with ease.  The fabric will not wrinkle.  The colors are great for fall also, I like the raspberry, black lavender palette. The dress is reasonably priced at $68.00 US.  I’m also loving the top in white and black with the tie at the waist (see picture above). This style is also very slimming and although the fabric is a polyester blend it looks luxurious. The coat is tailored with a high neck and a placket with covered buttons. It’s a very elegant topper perfect for the holidays. I really can’t wait to see the rest of this collection in Kohl’s store on Nov. 7th. (Note: The stores will open Nov. 7th at 7 am so shoppers can get in early and get their designer goods.)

Bottom line, Narcisco Rodriguez for Kohl’s is better quality fabric with better fit and tailoring than any of the Target designer collections that I have seen.
