Sponsored Post: The Recessionista Reviews the Ross Shoe Event

Discount retailer Ross is having a shoe event just in time for Easter. To be honest, I was highly skeptical about what kinds of shoes I might find at Ross Dress for Less. But, I have to admit I was very pleasantly surprised. There’s a lot of everything, and some of it is junk, but there are plenty of treasures too. I found name brands like Anne Klein (the pink pair above), Tommy Hilfiger, Avia, Reebook, Nine West. Etienne Aigner, Seychelles (black and white pair above) just to name a few. Sure there is are some castaways, strange colors you might not want and styles that you don’t see everyday. You have to pick and choose. But if you are willing to dig, you can find some great deals for $12.00 to $25.00 per pair. Those prices for name brands are hard to beat. I really enjoyed the Ross Shoe event. I also enjoyed being in the shoe. Event though it was crowded, and I’m still walking with a cane after foot surgery, it was fairly easy to maneuver. Even better, Ross had a special check out line for people with disabilities, which I really appreciate as did my still swollen and sore foot. Every store is supposed to have a special check out for people with disabilities, but not all of them do. Props to Ross for reasonably accommodating handicapped people!
Now that I got my Ross shoes, I want to share the joy of finding a great bargain for less–so I’m giving away a Ross Gift Card. One lucky reader will win a $25.00 gift card for shopping at Ross.
