Decadestwo is a Los Angeles shopping tradition. The store is a consignor offering a bit of Hollywood glamour plus a great collection of pre-owned Chanel suits, vintage clothing and rare jewelry. A few months ago, I was lucky enough to meet and have a chat with the owner of Decadestwo, Christos Garkos. Some of the items are brand new with tags. On a number of special occasions, the store offers discount sales throughout the store. This Saturday, Sept. 26 is just such an occasion. Everything in the store will be reduced 25%.

If you live in the LA area, you may have seen the crowds lining up on Melrose to gain first admittance to the sale. Some Chanel lovers have been know to camp out all night to be first in line to enter the shop and snatch up the deals. There has actually been a bit of pushing and shoving out on the street as dedicated shoppers have tried to rush in to the store like they were storming the Bastille. The lure of discount Chanel has such a strong appeal:) This is not a spectator sport.
