Last week I reported that designer Narciso Rodriguez, and Michelle Obama favorite, was coming to Kohl’s with an exclusive collection for the low priced retailer.  Now Kohl’s has confirmed the news and offered some additional information.   Here’s what our spies at Kohl’s tell us today.  The designer’s limited-edition collection concept will be part of a new”DesigNation”  line Kohl’s is launching. This new line will feature fashions based on international inspirations from different premier designers.  Mr. Rodriquez will be the first designer for the new DesigNation collection offering garments inspired by Mr. Rodriguez’s trip to Istanbul, Turkey earlier this year. Interesting huh? Kohl’s and Istanbul, those are two words you don’t usually see in the same sentence.   Why Istanbul?  “In Istanbul, I found beauty in colors, textures and patterns, but also in the nuances of the city; the patina on the walls, the color of the stone and the way people moved.” says Rodriguez. “I am excited to partner with Kohl’s to bring this DesigNation collection to life and provide women with beautiful clothing at an accessible price.”

The line will be in Kohl’s stores and online at Kohls.com beginning in early November 2012.  As for pricing, collection pieces will range from $30 US to $150 US.  The collection will offer misses apparel including outerwear, dresses, skirts, pants and shirts.  No sketches or pictures have yet been released, but I am very curious to see this one, how about you?
