The Recessionista website at www.TheRecessionista.com is a personal opinion blog written and edited by the author, Mary C. Hall. This blog accepts paid advertising, sponsored articles & giveaways, brand  ambassadorship,  paid insertions, and other forms of compensation–and this will always  be clearly disclosed in each post.

The Recessionista also accepts and keeps free products and/or services from companies and organizations.

Accepting these products and/or services is used only for experience-based reviews on the site. If I haven’t tried your product, I can’t write about it. If you send products or samples to us at The Recessionista this does not guarantee a review or mention. I will ONLY write a review for The Recessionista about products and/or services that I truly believe are good value for consumers, enjoy using, and see the value and benefits of using.   Please note, many of the products &/or services that I try are never published on The Recessionista as  blog posts, if they are not good, I usually don’t take the time to write about them.  Our reviews are designed to be things that are worthy of a recommendation from The Recessionista.
