Mark your calendar: The Nordstrom Anniversary sale for 2015 is about to start!

Rev your shopping engines because the 2015 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is about to start. This week Nordstrom cardholders will have early access to shop the sale from July 9-16.  The sale opens to everyone July 17-August 2, 2015.  I’m letting you all know about the sale for a few reasons, but number one is it’s quality merchandise paired with the unparalleled service of the Nordstrom sales associates. Number two is , this sale is a reader and customer favorite.  Number three, the sale is not past season, you can shop pre-season here and make selections for Fall 2015 at reduced prices.  Please be warned: the Nordstrom website has crashed during previous sales. My advice: start making your selections before July 9th.   We’ve been shopping the sale during early access, so take a look at our top picks as you make up your shopping list.

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale will offer cardholders double points.

Here’s a little tip to start getting what you want when it goes on sale: login to your Nordstrom account and save what you want in your shopping cart or wish list. That way, if what you really want is reduced, then you’ll be making a purchase that is not an impulse buy. And then of course, on July 9th, take a look to see if the brands/designers you like are reduced for sale. Remember, it’s easy to get carried away, so you’ll want to choose wisely. The good thing is everything is returnable, so if you overspend or have buyers remorse you can make shopping corrections.
