Missoni for Target on the Clearance Racks? Yes, at some stores.

I had to do a little run to the local Target this week for some grocery items, and to my surprise, I spotted several Missoni for Target items on the clearance rack.  There were scarves, sweaters, a dress, a blouse,  the big floppy hat, gloves and many pairs of the pumps.  I don’t know for sure how this is happening, but my guess is that some of the eBayers who tried to sell the items are now returning them to the store because Target has a 90 day return policy.  It could also be that customers are finally receiving online orders, and returning them if they don’t care for them.  In my opinion, Target could sell most of these for the original retail price, but they are not.  Target-Addict has  also seen the Missoni items on clearance.  She has said that sometimes times Target will put online only sale items back on the in-store clearance racks, but I think that some of the clearance items I saw were offered for store sale, not just online.   Whatever the reason, if you missed Missoni for Target when it launched, check the clearance racks when you head to your local store.  You might just find some good deals!
