After Christmas & Boxing Day Sales 2013

This year’s Christmas buying season was unusually low for retailers, with many shoppers waiting until the last minute to buy.  The result is that retailers much continue to offer deals to get customers into store or online to hit the buy button.  So,  if you have Christmas money, or waited to buy, you might want to check out some of these deals on The Recessionista’s Radar.   In the UK it’s Boxing Day, the day the gentry typically gifted their servants with gifts and cash.  So think Downtown Abbey, in the old days this is when the servants were rewarded.  Today Boxing Day is a public holiday in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany, Greenland, New Zealand and parts of Asia. With winter storms raging across the US, you might prefer to use online shopping to get the deals this year.
