Christmas Birkin Atrocity: Kardashian K-Birkin Katastrophe

I looked at this Birkin bag and thought I was looking at Medusa. I almost froze.   This is the bag that Kanye  West gave Kim Kardashian for Christmas.  As with all things Kardashian, the bag was promptly shown off on Instagram for fans to see.  A Birkin bag is one of the most coveted handbags in the world, ranging in cost from $6,000 to $40,000 US or more.   Did it really need to be painted with this image? Is it fashionable, or merely shocking?  To me, it’s an atrocity and an obscene waste of money, as good as say Sears Kardashian Kollection or the ill-fated trademark infringing Kardashian Khroma make-up line.  Just when you thought a Birkin bag couldn’t get any more outrageous, enter this holiday travesty.  This may not be a success as a fashion accessory, but as a PR stunt for Kim and Kanye , perhaps it is.   Too bad they couldn’t have taken the money they spent on this bag and spread it around for good like Beyonce did by gift giving at Walmart.  Maybe Tyler Shields can do a photo shoot of this Birkin bag burning.  Now that would be hot.
