Airelle Offers Effective Blueberry Anti-Aging Skincare System
July is National Blueberry Month as decreed by the US Dept of Agriculture. This month many of us will indulge in Blueberry recipes, but what about using Blueberries for your skin? That’s the goal of Airelle skincare a natural skincare line loaded with Berrimatrix –a unique extract harvested from blueberry plants. Airelle is the brainchild of Santa Monica based dermatologist Kasey D’Amato PA-C. The products were developed to offer products with natural ingredients to patients looking for great & effective skincare. I’ve been using the products for the past few months and I am really pleased with the results. Here’s why you might want to consider these organic products packed with the Polyphenols from in Blueberries, Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid.
For the past 2 months, I’ve been using the Airelle Exfoliating Cleanser, the Airelle Age Defying Facial Serum and the Airelle Eye & Lip Treatment. Here’s what I like about these products –they really do make the skin look healthier by effectively sloughing off dead skin (the work of the exfoliating cleanser) and helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles (the facial serum and the eye and lip treatment. I’m careful about what I put on my skin, but the ingredients in the Airelle products gave me confidence to try them. The products are paraben, sulfate & fragrance free. The line’s unique ingredient and differentiator is the Berrimatrix blend. Berrimatrix contents the Polyphenols found in Blueberries. According to Airelle, these natural ingredients have been shown to improve the texture of the skin and protect against photo-aging. The Airelle products contain a mixture of blueberry, antioxidants and vitamins. The Facial Serum and the Eye & Lip Treatment also contain Hyaluronic Acid–which is a powerful ingredient for fighting the signs of aging. Here’s my take on the Airelle products I have been using.
Airelle Eye & Lip Treatment: I typically start my day with the Airelle Eye & Lip Treatment. I keep the product in my refrigerator. Like a lot of women, my eyes get puffy at night while I sleep and I need to deflate that puffiness before I go to work . The Airelle Eye & Lip Treatment gets the job down by decreasing the swelling very quickly, and firming the eyelid area skin, which unfortunately tends to drop as we get older. I apply the product around my mouth to help fade the little lines that form above & below my lips.
Airelle Exfoliating Cleanser: I use this once a week. For me, this is a bit too powerful to use everyday. It’s a strong exfoliating cleanser and you can feel it tingling on the skin when you use it. The reason you feel the tingle is it contains Glycolic which is the main ingredient in most peels. So a little of this goes a long way. I like it as a weekly exfoliation. It seems to brighten the skin and help decrease redness.
Airelle Age-Defying Facial Serum: For me, this is the must have product in the collection. This complex contains the Berrimatrix blend plus Hyaluronic Acid. I try to use this a couple of times a week not only on my face, but on my neck. I’m using it on my neck to prevent the dreaded syndrome of “Turkey Neck.” It seems to help firm the skin and reduce pores. I’m always trying to reduce my pore size so the blackheads can’t get in and form.
Arielle also offers a Repair Complex with Berrimatrix, Cooper and Vitamin E. I haven’t tried this product yet, but I like the list of ingredients and will try it in the future.
Overall, I’m very impressed with Airelle Skincare as a way to keep my skin looking youthful and fresh. The products are not cheap, but they are quality. Look for Airelle Skincare on sale at Amazon and the Airelle website. All the products are handmade in the USA, which makes me feel good about supporting and buying this brand. Another good thing bout Airelle Skincare is that the products are cruelty-free as the brand doesn’t do any animal testing.
Disclosure: I was given the Airelle Skincare products for editorial consideration, but all opinions about their use are my own. I am not a paid spokesperson for the Airelle brand.
