American Express Brings NYFW to Cardholders with a Rachel Zoe Fashion Show

By  |

This just in! American Express is bringing back their series of ticketed fashion week shows for card members at the upcoming New York Fashion Week. These shows allow those interested in the mystique of New York Fashion Week to attend shows without being media, celebrities or fashion industry insiders. Card members can buy tickets to attend selected Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week  shows and sit in the the American Express Skybox at Lincoln Center or MADE at MILK Studios.  Guess who this season’s Cardmember-Only Show  headliner is? None other than Los Angeles celebrity stylist turned fashion designer Rachel Zoe.  This is a savvy decision on the part of American Express to sell Skybox tickets to Zoe’s shows.  After all, she is a TV star, so consumers will be interested in her show.  The experience of sitting in the Skybox at fashion week for women, is like men buying tickets to the Superbowl and enjoyed a sporting event.  Cocktails and appetizers are severed and fashion commentary is offered. In other words, this is a great girls night out.  I should know, I saw a show in the Skybox last year and enjoyed it quite a bit! Tickets are available at now starting at $50.00 for the show.  Click here for details.

Look for the Rachel Zoe Spring 2013 show, exclusively for American Express Cardmembers on Thursday, September 13th at 6:30PM at Lincoln Center.  “I am so honored by the opportunity to work with such an established global brand and to provide the American Express Cardmembers with an exclusive fashion show of my Spring 2013 collection – it’s going to be an incredibly fun and fashionable evening” says Rachel Zoe.  Amex dial The Recessionista hotline! Our people need tickets to see Rachel.  She was super nice to bloggers at last year’s Rodeo Walk of Style. This is what we like in our designers, appreciation of their fans, and glam vintage inspired clothing!

Update: Since I posted this, the show has sold out of tickets, despite rumors that’s Zoe’s fashion line is in trouble.
