Carine Roitfeld Returns to UNIQLO with a Fall 2016 collection

By  |

Former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris Carine Roitfeld has launched her new Fall 2016 collection at UNIQLO.  Her UNIQLO Fall 2016 collection features faux fur combined with casual MA-1 bomber jackets, leopard prints and relaxed-fit chalk-stripe suiting. The pictures from UNIQLO look enticing, especially  the winter coats and the print dresses and blouses.

One of our favorites, the wool blend the Carine Roitfeld x Uniqlo cape coat and the print dress.

One particular standout in the collection is the wool cape and it looks great paired with the print dress.  There are some great accessories too like faux fur wraps, a animal print tote bag and a wide suede belt with gold hardware on the buckle (an CR charms ala Dior.)

The new Carine Roitfeld x UNIQLO collection is now on sale online. UNIQLO is offering special savings for a limited time when you purchase $200.00 or more.

Sizing of Carine Roitfeld x UNIQLO

I always like the styles of the Carine Roitfeld x UNIQLO pieces, but I find that the fit runs small.  It is not the same sizing as say Ines de la Fressange (IDLF) for UNIQLO.  The size you were in an IDLF piece will likely not fit in a Carine Roitfield piece.  The collection is sold in few UNIQLO US stores, except the New York City stores (Soho and Midtown-5th Ave.), so most shoppers will have to buy online. My advice if you’re online shopping Carine Roitfeld 2016, buy 2 sizes of the piece you order–one your usual size and one that is one size up from your usual size.
