Like many a weary traveler at the airport, Jessica Alba stopped to check her phone messages. But unlike most weary travelers, because Ms. Alba is a celebrity, her photo was snapped while checking her phone mail. At first glance, there’s nothing too unusual about the photo, except, the comfy looking shoes caught my eye. Ms. Alba is wearing a very trendy black pointed toe flat.   What’s interesting about this, is that this cute shoe style is made in a range of prices.   Jennie Kayne offers a luxury priced D’orsay pointed toe flat in 100% leather for $495.00 on Piperlime.   However, there’s a more reasonably priced version of this shoe style available from Chinese Laundry called “Easy Does It” priced from approximately $59.00 at various retailers including shoe behemoth Nordstrom.  Which version would you choose readers?  The one under $500.00 or the one under $60.00?
