Coachella has grown from a indie fest with a hippie style to a fashionable occasion with retailers like H&M having a major presence there. So what are some of The Recessionista‘s top picks to rock out in the desert? We love tie dye, color and cotton for Coachella. Remember, it’s hot in the day time and cool at night.

Dress using layers When the sun goes down in the desert, temperatures drop. Be prepared for any weather by layering your wardrobe. Make the practical look chic by mismatching textures, patterns, and colors-the oh-so-boho vibe is sure to turn heads at the concert. The Levi’s women’s authentic trucker jacket is a classic.
