Gucci dressed Salma Hayek this evening for the premiere of Robin Hood at the 63rd Annual Cannes Film Festival. Salma Hayek wore the very first couture gown from Gucci Première collection designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini. While the festivities were going on in Cannes, and Salma was rocking this floor length Bordeaux silk georgette one shoulder gown with hip, back and shoulder drape detail, I was on Twitter with many other frugal fashionistas talking about sample sales and fashion deals in a Tweet-up called #Dealchat lead by The Frugalista, Natalie McNeal.  It’s only natural as we watch the stars on the red carpet, that the rest of us fantasize about where we can get the deals, or the best for less.

Personally, I am lusting after Helen Mirren’s beautiful black Alberta Ferretti  gown accented by jewelry from Chopard  including a 18ct white gold ring set with diamonds (14cts), two stunning platinum bracelets set with diamonds (116cts and 62cts),  as well as a magnificent pair of earrings in platinum and diamonds (36cts).  She literally rocked it!

As we all search the universe to aspire to these Glamorous looks, it’s only natural that we scour the sample sales, online clubs and discounters.  As promised during DealChat, I’m posting some of the places that I have found good deals along with invite links, or membership links.  Here are a few great online sources I have found for designer deals.  Just remember, get into these club’s sales early, and point and click quick!
