Frugalytics: The Mobile Way to Shop and Price Compare

By  |

I have been traveling a bit the last few week and doing more business than ever on my mobile Blackberry Smartphone.  One thing I just discovered, and have frankly fallen in love with is “Frugalytics.” Have any of you heard of this web site and Blackberry Mobile application?  It’s lets you do price comparisons for hundred of items from your mobile phone.   I find it particularly useful when looking for the best deals on electronics.  With the holiday season upon us, Frugalytics is a shoppers best friend.  It does a lot of the price comparison homework for you on items as diverse as cameras, stereos, laptops, fashion, jewelry and even chicken on a biscuit!  This aggregator of deals pulls from sources like Amazon mobile, TigerDirect, eCost, and many more.  One of my favorite uses of Frugalytics is in store stopping to obtain the best price.  You can show the merchant you are shopping with where prices are lower, and they match the best price for you, or even give you a price adjustment on an item you have already purchased.  Frugalytics is free, so it costs you nothing to give it a test drive, and it could save you some cash. It’s worth looking at during this holiday shopping season.
